Project Overview

Healthcare organizations are rapidly exploring AI and automation, but successful adoption requires more than implementing new technology. Clinicians need clear, practical guidance on how these tools may support care delivery while maintaining patient safety, ethical standards, and the essential role of clinical judgment.

For this analysis, I combined nursing expertise with healthcare writing skills to translate emerging AI concepts into practical guidance for nurses. The goal was to help clinicians view AI readiness as an evolving professional skill—not simply a technical requirement.

My Role

As the RN Clinical Subject Matter Expert and Medical Writer, I provided clinical insight and content development to ensure the resource was:

• Grounded in evidence-based clinical guidance and real nursing workflows

• Appropriate for a nursing audience rather than a general technology audience

• Clear, practical, and focused on responsible AI adoption

• Balanced in addressing both the opportunities and responsibilities of AI in healthcare

Clinical Value

AI can improve healthcare workflows, but technology alone does not improve care. Safe adoption depends on clinicians who understand not only how to use these tools, but when to question, validate, and apply them.

This project demonstrates my ability to bridge the gap between emerging healthcare technology and the clinicians who use it—creating content that is accurate, accessible, and grounded in clinical reality.
